Bee Spring Lodge is the oldest resort on Kentucky Lake owned and operated by the original family. In 1954 William and Dorothy Onnybecker attended the TVA auction and purchased the property that is known today as Bee Spring Lodge. Bee Spring was built as a fishing resort and has three motel rooms, two cottages, a dock, campground and a grill that serves the best breakfast and lunch a person can get on Kentucky Lake. Today the resort still caters not only to fisherman but families, golfers, hunters and campers also enjoy the exceptionally clean facilities, quiet ambiance and natural surroundings. Bee Spring Lodge is a seasonal resort open St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, through the last Sunday in October. Make your reservations early especially in the spring and fall during prime fishing times. The restaurant is open Friday through Monday, until our last day, the last Sunday in October.
