These antique postcards date back to 1944, when Kentucky Dam was first built.  They give us an insight to the lake's early days.  KY Dam is a great landmark that us locals tend to take for granted.  The building of this dam created one of the largest man-made lakes in the world!  Kentucky Lake is 184 miles long and has a shoreline of 2400 miles.
