White-tailed Deer
Deer are plentiful in the lakes region.  We were enjoying the shoreline from the Kentucky Lake Online Sea Doo when we noticed this female deer trying to cool off on a hot July day on Kentucky Lake.  If you look to the right, you will see a Blue Heron also wading along the shoreline.  Click the photos below to zoom in.

You don't have to be on the water to site these graceful creatures.  The local folks know to watch for deer when driving.  It is a normal site at the Kentucky Lake Online office to see deer roaming the grounds.  We have a lot of "critters", including one rather large pot belly pig named Rosie, visit our office on occasion.  Buster gets rather upset by it all.

Be sure to ZOOM in on the photos.
