- Fishing has improved this week. Some scattered crappie has been
reported. They were taken on minnows over brush that is 12' to
20' deep. Largemouth are shallow and around the grass. Jerk
baits and shallow running crank baits has been the better baits.
The bass have been running small but the size has been smaller.
Catfishing is good along the river channels and in the tail
waters. Bluegill have been excellent on most live baits around
the docks and deeper cover. Fall fishing patterns have started.
The lakes are near winter pool and the temp are in the upper
70's. |
