There has
been a lot of talk about the funnel clouds and waterspout on Kentucky
Lake near Moors Resort and Marina on Sunday, August 3rd. We just
happened to be out and snapped a few pictures of the funnel clouds
while we beached the houseboat and tied to the trees. It was rather
scary! For all of those on the lake that day, you know just what I am
talking about. We have heard stories of those racing across the lake
from the Rock Quarry to Moors Marina to take shelter under the docks.
There was even a sailboat that capsized due to not lowering his sails
before the winds hit. The sailboat has not yet been found but
luckily, there were no injuries.
