TRIPS INCLUDE:

• Guided trip with John in his 20 ft. fully rigged boat.
• Use of rods, reels, and tackle are included.  (You are welcome to bring your own if you wish.)
• John will fillet and package your catch.
• On the water instruction and explanation of fishing methods, equipment, tackle, live bait, and boat control used during your trip.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Kentucky fishing license
• Clothing to fit season (rain gear)
• Lunch (if you wish)
• Soft drinks or water (boat equipped with cooler)

• Crappie fishing is best from March 1 until May 15.  Some good catches can also be had in November and December.
• Bass fishing usually is very good early in March and again in May and June.
• White bass can be taken in large numbers in June, July, and August.

• Call at least 3 weeks before you wish to come fishing to check water levels and fishing conditions.
• If you will be fishing from your own boat, consider resorts around some of the large bays on the lake (such as Blood River or Kenlake).  This allows fishing even when the wind is blowing.
• If you plan to hire a guide, book your trip for the first day of your visit.  This way you will know what methods to use during the rest of your stay.

RATES

• Half day ---- $140 (approximately 4-5 hours)

• Full day ---- $200 (approximately 8 hours)

• All day ---- $230 (daylight to dark)

• Split day ---- $230 (4 hours morning, break few hours, 4 hours afternoon; used mostly in hot summer months)
