Size & Creel Limits, Regulations

The following information is for the lakes only - Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley. Kentucky Lake in Tennessee has slightly different creel and size limits than Kentucky. Largemouth & Smallmouth Bass

Daily Limit: 6 (5 in Tennessee in combination)
Possession Limit: 12
Minimum Size Limit: 15"

Crappie (Black & White):

Daily Limit: 20
Possession Limit: 40
Minimum Size Limit: 10"

Redear Sunfish

Daily Limit: 20
Possession Limit: 40
Minimum Size Limit: None

Yellow Bass

No limits of any kind.

White & Hybrid Striped Bass

Daily Limit: 15
Possession Limit: 30
Minimum Size Limit: None

Striped Bass

Daily Limit: 5
Possession Limit: 10
Minimum Size Limit: None

Sauger

Daily Limit: 6 (10 in Tennessee)
Possession Limit: 12
Minimum Size Limit: 14" (15" in Tennessee)

Bluegill

No limits.

Catfish

No limits in Kentucky. In Tennessee, there is no creel limit for fish 34 inches and less in length. Only one fish over 34 inches can be harvested each day.
